ItsAboutTime03 was a two-week campaign promoting the health and well-being of women over 50. Backed by comprehensive research, it provided resources and support for a healthy lifestyle and positive aging experience, dubbed “The Going Grey Journey.” The campaign included daily website and social media posts via MetaBusiness, with performance tracked through Google Analytics. Over the two weeks, 13K new users were recorded, averaging about 500 per day.
Media Crisis Response

We can learn from past company missteps to develop a solid, appropriate plan when facing significant challenges. Promoting HPV Vaccination Compliance in the Siksika Nation, Montana: A Community-Centered Health Campaign

During a travel nurse contract in 2022, I envisioned a health campaign aimed at increasing HPV vaccination rates within the Siksika Nation on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Inspired by the community’s resilience and warmth, I proposed a campaign centered around culturally sensitive and community-driven strategies for my COMHTLH 572 class assignment.
A key element of this campaign involved collaborating with a respected matriarch of the local healthcare system, a dear friend I made during my time there. Her image featured prominently in social media posts and flyers, embodying the spirit and strength of the community. This personal and relatable approach could help foster trust and engagement, ensuring the campaign’s messages resonate deeply with the community members.
Crisis Communication Plan: Severe Weather Response

It’s crucial in today’s online world to manage the rapid spread of information, safeguard the organization’s reputation, control misinformation, reassure stakeholders, maintain operational continuity, comply with regulations, and ultimately mitigate the overall impact of a crisis. Every business should have a plan for crisis communication.
This Crisis Communication Plan was developed for a long-term care non-profit organization serving 900 adults with disabilities across seven states prone to severe weather events. During my tenure as the LA State Operation Manager/RN, I spearheaded the creation of this plan to ensure effective communication and coordination during times of crisis.

One of my projects involved evaluating a prosocial health campaign, where I analyzed the behavior change model employed, conducted a SWOT analysis, and assessed the overall effectiveness of the campaign. I chose to focus on the World Health Organization’s initiative to combat ageism.
